Shekinah home has a garden project which started last year and 18 raised beds were used to produce a variety of vegetables which the children enjoyed looking after and harvesting. It proved a very therapeutic activity for the children, who were very keen to rush out into the garden after school to tend their patch.
This year the land has been dug and manured and the seeds are germinating in small pots for transplanting into the larger beds when they are ready
