For many years the children have desperately needed a playroom as when it is too hot or too wet to play outside they have nothing to do. A transformation took place when a bare shell of a room, with only concrete walls and neither windows nor a door, was painted and equipped with toys and books. One of our sponsors spent 2 weeks helping with the project and the children are now able to have access to a wide range of toys and many library books. It has been amazing to watch the children become engrossed in constructing models, doing jigsaws, playing board games and avidly reading books. Many of the toys were donated by the Sunday School Children of Bow Street Baptist Church in London and congregation members from St. Mary’s Church, Motcombe.
